4. Analysis tools and advertising

Matomo (previously Piwik)

This website uses Matomo, which is an open source web analytical application. Matomo uses cookies. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the session cookies about the use of our website is stored exclusively on our server. The IP address transmitted is anonymised before storage.

Matomo cookies remain in your device's memory until you delete them.

Matomo cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour to optimise its website offer as well as its marketing efforts.

The information generated by the session cookies about the use of our website will not be shared with third parties. You may block storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use all features of our site.

In this case, an opt-out cookie is stored in your browser which prevents Matomo from saving usage data.
